As I head back to celebrate 25 years since graduating from JBIMS, i feel a great sense of excitement to meet up with my batch mates and friends. Although we have all gone down different paths and had varied experiences; with old friends it is as if nothing has changed and we just take off from where we left off.
I cannot point to any huge moments or experiences, but overall it has been a fun ride. I am probably one of the few people still in my first job (largely attributable to inertia, i would say). Spent a few years down under in Sydney, and then the past 13 years in NY. I am blessed to have a wonderful family. My wife, Shalini, passionate about everything she does, is currently studying for a career in Nursing. Have two kids, Ishan, 16 (who is currently focused on bicep curls) and Diya, 11 (who loves dancing and snapchat and keeps me on my toes every moment of the day).
Have tried out a bunch of things without getting serious about anything. Nothing fancy, some sports, some music, some study to check if the old brain cells still function (recently gave some exams as well). Probably need to get serious about something at some point.
Even today, I look back with fond memories to our days spent together at JBIMS, at JS Hall, and cherish all the lifelong friendships made. Cheers to 25 years and looking forward to the next 25.
